What to expect in an art therapy session...

What happens in an Art Therapy session?
Most importantly, the space is free of judgment or expectations. I offer a warm, safe, and confidential space where you can explore themes gently guided by me or engage in your own creative process with art materials and sometimes we’ll simply sit and talk through what’s on your mind, always aiming to help you feel more comfortable in your world.

Each session gives you the freedom to guide the conversation and focus on what feels important to you. We will explore the emotions that are arising during the process and together make sense of your personal story.

Sessions can be as quiet or as energetic as needed. You'll have access to a variety of creative tools—musical instruments, a sand tray with miniatures, puppets, clay, paint, and much much more. We begin each session with a check-in, reviewing how you’ve been and maybe look at any goals you might like to make.
